ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite films. It's SO creative, unique, funny & tender. There are moments that literally made me laugh till I cried! I don't want to give ANYthing away about this little masterpiece, except to say you will be delighted, and the ending makes the sometimes wacky story pieces fall perfectly into place in the most satisfying way.
ReplyDeleteI did watch a marathon of Darkplace today, OK, it was a short marathon, but still, maybe this made me think Bunny and The Bull would be non-stop hi-jinx and laughters away. It started out well, with a guy who lives in his house and won't go outside.

King has previously worked on British television comedies The Mighty Boosh and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace; the film is made in a similar style and has guest appearances from stars of those series.
