MONSTERS AT LARGE is a super cute, thoroughly entertaining film for the whole family. Other than a couple of crude remarks, the film's content is clean as a whistle and manages to scare, delight and tickle without useless filler.

Parents need to know that Monsters at Large is a live-action comedy about three kids who set out to rid their neighborhood of monsters, or at least the monsters that appear in the imaginations of younger children. Monsters at Large is a pretty fun film, the only thing letting it down is a cheap old cartoon human man resemblance rubbery monster that mostly other than some of it's limbs interacting with the characters near the end, is on a green-screen in the background where it is obvious it isn't sharing the same space as the humans.
